A collection of known lost songs recorded by Elvis Presley, Scotty Moore, and Bill Black from their Sun Records sessions. For these songs we did our best to replicate the sound you would have heard listening to the originals. You'll also find songs rumored to have been recorded by Elvis and the Blue Moon Boys or songs they were playing on the road but were never recorded during their time on Sun Records. For these songs, Eddie Clendening, Matt Codina, and Johnny Bowler used their knowledge of the Elvis catalog while taking some creative freedom to posit an approximation of how Elvis, Scotty, and Bill would have arranged them. The record was captured live using the same equipment and processes as utlized at the Memphis Recording Service during 1954-1955. Vintage instruments and amplifiers of the same make and model (when possible) as used in the original recordings were used.
